Adjusting the Traction Drive Cable
Inspecting the Rotor
Blades
Unhook the Z-fitting (A) from the pivot cable adjuster
(B), and insert it into a different hole to obtain the
proper gap (C) between the pivot plate (D) and the
wheel frame (E).
Before each season, inspect the rotor blades for
wear. When a rotor blade edge has worn down to the
wear indicator hole (A), have an Authorized Service
Dealer replace all 3 rotor blades and the scraper.

Note: Moving the Z-fitting to a hole closer to the
ground decreases the gap between the pivot plate
and the wheel frame; moving it to a hole farther from
the ground increases the gap.

Note: The traction speed is fastest when the rotor
blades are new. If you want to reduce the traction
speed, move the Z-fitting one hole farther from the
ground. The gap between the pivot plate and the
wheel frame will be about 1/4 in. (6 mm).
