Converting from
Snowthrowing to Sweeping

Install the
deflector.
Important: Disconnect the power from the Power
Shovel Plus before performing this procedure.
1.
Remove the
bolt on the side of
the housing.

deflector snaps
into place.

7. Loosen the
lower knob on the
shaft.
8.
Rotate the
handle grip to the
opposite side of
the shaft.

Tighten the
knob.

Install the
broom in the
housing.

Ensure that the
Power Shovel Plus
is in the broom
mode as shown.

4.
Secure the
broom with the bolt
that you previously
removed.

Tighten the
bolt on the side of
the housing.

Note: You may need to adjust the length of the shaft
to comfortably operate in broom mode. Refer to
Adjusting the Power Shovel Plus Height on page 3.
