Securing Extension Cord
Use only an extension cord recommended for outdoor use.

Form a loop in extension cord and insert it through slot in rear
of blower housing (Fig. 10).
Starting/Stopping (Fig. 12)
Secure extension cord in cord lock (Fig. 10 & 11).

To turn unit on, move switch to the ‘|’ position.
To turn unit off, move switch to the ‘O’ position.
Note: Do not unplug extension cord by pulling on cord. To
unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.

Make sure the extension cord is fully connected to
unit’s plug and ALWAYS USE THE CORD LOCK
FEATURE to ensure that cord remains secured during
operation (Fig. 10 & 11).

Never operate vacuum without vacuum bag.
Always make sure bag zipper is closed when unit is in
use.

the collection bag.

Thrown objects can cause serious personal injury to
the operator or bystanders.
HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD
•
Do not vacuum up sharp, pointed or hard objects such
as wires, staples, nails or rocks.

With vac tubes and bag attached, pick up unit by vac tube
handle and housing handle. Bag should be positioned fairly
low at your side. Place bag strap over shoulder and adjust
length to fit.
