MAINTENANCE
Below follows some general maintenance instructions.
If you need further information please contact your service
workshop.
Daily maintenance
1.
Check that throttle components work correctly from a safety
view point (throttle and starter throttle catch).

Clean the main filter.
Check the sprocket.
Check the condition of the bar.
Check the condition of the cutting chain.
Check the starter and the starter cord; clean the outside of
the starter’s air intake.

Check that all nuts and bolts are tightened correctly.
Check the function of the stop switch.
Lubricate the chain, bar tip sprocket and bar to avoid
corrosion.
Weekly maintenance

Check the back-up paper filter.

Check that the handles and the anti-vibration elements are
not damaged.
Monthly maintenance

Check the clutch drum and clutch springs with regard
to wear.

Clean the spark plug. Check that the electrode gap is 0.5 mm.
Clean the cooling fins on the flywheel. Check the starter
and recoil spring.
18. Clean the outside of the carburetor

Check the fuel filter, fuel hose, change if necessary.
Clean the inside of the fuel tank.

Clean the cooling fins on the cylinder.
Check the muffler.
Check all cables and connections.
Check the carburetor function.
