Fill up with fresh chain oil when the
level reaches the "min" mark -

Begin cutting with the saw chain
running.

The chain contracts as it cools down.
If it is not slackened off, it could damage
the drive shaft and bearings.

motor speed may only drop a little

If the motor slows down suddenly
or the chain stops, reduce feed

overheating and possible damage
to the saw.

wear, especiallly at the nose and
underside of the bar.
