Mounting the Mowing Head
Keep instruction sheet for mowing head
in a safe place.

STIHL FixCut 25-2
STIHL PolyCut 20-3
:
Place the mowing head on the
thrust plate (2).
Use only the mowing head with the
stepped mounting shown above.
Shoulder (a) must engage hole (b)
in the mowing head.

Screw the
STIHL SuperCut 20-2,
STIHL AutoCut 25-2,
STIHL AutoCut C 25-2
STIHL TrimCut 30-2,
counterclockwise onto the shaft (1)
as far as stop.

Block the output shaft.
Push the thrust washer (3) over the
shaft (1) so that it locates against
the base.
Remove the tool used to block the
shaft.

Block the output shaft.
Tighten down the mowing head.
Remove the tool used to block the
shaft.
Only the thrust ring (3) may be used
for mounting the mowing head. Do
not use the thrust washer and nut.
