Mounting the Gearbox

Once the end of the drive tube is
inserted beyond the slot in the
clamp (4) – ease the rubber sleeve
to one side to check this – push the
gearbox right up to the stop.

Line up the gearbox (2) on the drive
tube (3) so that the fixing lug on the
drive tube (arrow) points vertically
upward when the output shafts (5)
are horizontal.
Fit the clamp screw as far as stop.

Tighten the clamp screws firmly.
Go to "Mounting Sweeper Drums".
Mount the CombiTool on the
CombiEngine – see "Mounting the
CombiTool".

Connecting drive tube to gearbox

Loosen the clamp screw (1).
Remove the protective caps from
the ends of the tube and put them in
a safe place.

Push the gearbox (2) onto the drive
tube (3), turning the gearbox back
and forth at the same time.
