Fuel tank run dry and then

Pull starter rope several times until
fuel system is primed.

If the engine doesn’t start:

Pull off the spark plug boot (8).
Unscrew and dry off the spark plug.
Open the throttle wide.
Crank the engine several times with
the starter to clear the combustion
chamber.
Refit the spark plug. Connect the
spark plug boot (press it down
firmly) and reassemble all other
parts.
If you did not move the Master Control
lever to warm start position j quickly
enough after the engine began to fire,
the combustion chamber has flooded.

Set the Master Control lever to $ d
Loosen the screw (6) on the filter

cover (7).

Swing the filter cover up and take it
off.

Set Master Control lever to n
(starting throttle position).
Move choke lever to warm start j –
even if engine is cold.
Now start the engine.
