Starting
Top:
Throttle trigger and setting lever in "start" position
Center: Rotary choke knob in "cold start" position
Bottom: Rotary choke knob in "warm start" position
Before starting, place the unit on a clear patch of ground.
Make sure you have a firm foothold, keep a firm grip on
the machine and check that there are no objects which
could be sucked in by the fan (between engine and
backplate).

Starting procedure
1.1
Slide the stop switch (1) to "I". Move the setting lever
(3)
to the midway position between the two end
stops. The throttle trigger (2) is now in the "starting
throttle" position.

If the engine is cold: Turn the rotary choke knob (4)
in the direction of the arrowl (choke).
If the engine is warm: Turn the rotary choke knob (4)
in the opposite direction to the arrow.
Note: This procedure also applies if the engine has
been running but is still cold.
