Description:
Grain is the tendency for grass or its runners to grow
horizontally. Horizontal growth can be the result of
recurring weather, water flow, wind, and sunlight
direction.
Note: Some cultivars (i.e. Bent and Bermuda grasses)
tend to naturally grow horizontally.

TIP
When addressing excessive grain issues, an aftercut appearance may worsen then
gradually improve with continued maintenance.
