Full-time, bi-directional, hydrostatic, closed-loop, 4WD transmission. Variable displacement piston pump with servo control powers fixed
displacement piston motors which drive single reduction planetary gear assemblies at each front wheel. Parallel hydraulic flow powers fixed
displacement piston motor which drives mechanical axle in rear. 2WD transport range. Optional 4WD Flow Divider Kit, model 30830.

MAIN FRAME
Mechanically actuated, internal wet disc brakes on input to each planetary drive. Individual foot-operated steering brake control of left and right
wheel. Lock pedals together and latch to engage parking brake.

12 volt, 650 cold cranking amps battery, 40 amp alternator. Overload protection with automotive type fuses.
Prevents engine from starting unless traction pedal is in neutral and deck is disengaged. If operator leaves seat with deck engaged, engine
stops. Mowing only permitted in low range. Engine stops if parking brake engaged and traction pedal not in neutral.
INTERLOCKS
Multi-tiered beverage holder, radio holder, 12-volt power point, storage box (tools, jackets, golf balls, etc.). Area for lunch cooler, water cooler,
and/or 5-gal. bucket. Seatbelt.

6" (15.3 cm) anti-scalp cups on each blade. On each deck: two 5" (12.7 cm) diameter front rollers, one 3" (7.6 cm) diameter rear roller.
27" (68.6 cm) long, 2.5" (6.4 cm) wide, .25" (.64 cm) thick. Standard combo blade optional Atomic Blade for leaf mulching.
Groundsmaster 4700-D has an impact absorption device on wing decks 6 and 7.
Model 30828 will convert to mulching decks.
