Getting Started

Conduct a landscape and irrigation system audit using the worksheet on the reverse side. All items in the
station data section are required for automatic, ET-controlled operation.

Install the controller using the installation instructions starting on page 48 of the Intelli-Sense User ’s Guide.
Begin the controller programming procedures starting on page 2 of the User’s Guide. Follow step-by-step through
the required procedures to prepare the Intilli-Sense for operation. Be sure to have the completed worksheet with
you for reference. If questions arise regarding controller programming or operation, call Toro customer support
at 1-800-664-4740.

To activate the ET EverywhereTM service, call HydroPoint at 1 - 8 0 0 - 3 6 2 - 8 7 7 4 . Have the completed worksheet on
hand for reference during this process.
Irrigation Schedule Fine-tuning

After a week of operation, reduce the watering schedule for each station by 10% using the % Adjust feature.
Repeat this process weekly until the landscape begins to show signs of stress; then increase operation by 5%.
Note: It may require several weeks to fine-tune the irrigation schedule for optimum results. The goal is to reduce
irrigation to the minimum amount required to establish and maintain a healthy landscape.
