Square Air Filter—Blowers And Blower/Vacs
1.
For Models 280, 300BV, 310, And 310BV— In-
stall a new carburetor gasket over the pins on
carburetor mount/reed plate.

Bushings

Make sure the bushings are installed in the air fil-
ter base mounting holes.
NOTE: Models 280, 300BV, 310, And 310BV
blowers and blower/vacs, serial number
206058151 and
greater, use a machined, stepped
bushing in the mounting hole under the choke
lever.

3.
Install a new carburetor gasket, the carburetor,
air filter base, choke lever, wavy washer, and
carburetor mounting screws to the carburetor
mount reed plate.
Torque the screws to 35-40 in•lb (3.9-4.5 N•m).
