Disassembly
3. Remove the locknut and flat washer from the
shoulder bolt. Slide the chute control rod off and
remove the rubber washer and friction plate
(Fig. 021).

To begin disassembly of the Quick Stick, remove the
screw retaining the blue lever cap and remove the
cap (Fig. 019).

Hold the Quick Stick so the three screws holding
the handle halves are facing up. Remove the three
screws and lift off the top handle half (Fig. 022).
2.
Remove the two screws on the right hand side of the
chute control cover (the part that looks like a ball).
Remove both halves and set aside (Fig. 020).
