Fitting the Harness
Starting
If the nylon lines are shorter than 1"
A Harness is available as special
accessory.

Switch off the machine.
Wear the harness over your left shoulder
and adjust its length so that the spring
hook lies against your right hip.
Unplug the power cord from the
power supply.

Turn the machine in its back.
The open side of the hook should face
away from your body. Attach the spring
hook to the carrying loop.
Push home button on the spool as
far as stop.

Pull the ends of the nylon lines out
of the spool.
If the spool is empty, fit fresh nylon line –
see “Replacing the Nylon Line”.

Removing the Mowing Head

Hold the spool housing firmly.
Rotae the cap counterclockwise.
Connecting to power supply
The voltage of your power supply and
the voltage specified on the unit must be
the same. Use an extension cord
specifically approved for outdoor
applications.
Fitting New Nylon Line
