Hydraulic oil level should be checked daily.

Milky or cloudy oil indicates water contamination.
Dark or black oil indicates dirt contamination or excessive operating temperature.
Hydraulic filter should be changed after the first 10 hrs then every 200 hrs after that.

The hydraulic filter on the machine when shipped, is printed with a red label.
The replacement filter through service parts is printed with a black label.
A new filter for the 10-hr change is shipped with the machine.
The filter can be cut open to check for hydraulic system problems.
