To connect the pump start relay:
WARNING: Proper connection of the pump and relay
contacts depends on the pump configuration and may involve
HIGH VOLTAGE. This connection should be per-formed by
a licensed electrical contractor in accordance with all requirements of
the National Electrical Code, applicable state and local codes and the
pump manufacturer ’s recommendations.

Connect one side of the relay
coil to the MV/PUMP terminal.

CONNECTING A RAIN SWITCH SENSOR
The Custom Command is designed for use with a normally closed rain
sensor or “Rain Switch.” (Refer to page 6 for additional important rain
switch information and the installation instructions provided with the
rain switch sensor.)
To connect the Toro rain switch sensor:

four wires: two copper wires and
two silver wires. Only two of the
