The innovative planetary
gear wheel-drive system on
the Groundsmaster 4000-D
and 4100-D allows the
traction system hydraulics
to run with increased efficiency and less heat build-up. The
wing decks on the 4000-D feature a bi-directional impact
absorption system to prevent cutting decks from being
damaged if a solid object is struck. The out-front deck
on the 4100-D is equipped with a breakaway system
protecting against forward impact.

Operators will like these
Groundsmasters because they are
amazingly quiet. Their low engine
speed, low-noise technology gear
motors and a variable-speed
cooling fan clutch all contribute to
greatly reduced noise levels. Plus,
amenities like a deluxe suspension
seat, multi-size beverage holder, 12 volt power outlet and
a portable radio holder make work more comfortable.
EASY TRANSPORT
The wing decks on the
4000-D fold up and rotate
rearward, giving the
operator an unobstructed
peripheral view. The sides
of the out-front deck on
the 4100-D fold up for
free and clear transport
at speeds up to 15 mph.
Both models fit easily on
most conventional trailers.
MANEUVERABILITY With the
incredible trimming capability of the 4000-D
and 4100-D, you’ll maneuver around small
obstacles with ease. Both mowers have the
ability to mow a 0" uncut circle (without
applying the wheel brakes) allowing you to
mow back and forth patterns without leaving
any grass uncut. Smooth turning is a result of
a tight 55.5" wheelbase and an inner, rear
steering wheel turning angle of 53.5.°
