SECTION 7 - DRIVE TRAIN

REPLACE DRIVE BELT
Remove fuel cap.
7.2 REPLACE WHEELS
1. Support unit with wheels off the ground.
2. Remove hub cap.

Remove cowl and replace fuel cap.
Disconnect extension spring on idler arm/brake.
3.
3. Pry E-ring clip from shaft.
4. Remove wheel.

Remove cap screw and washer from end of auger
shaft and pull off auger drive pulley.
Assemble in reverse order.

Remove old belt.
Install new belt onto pulleys.
Reinstall auger drive pulley and secure with
washer and cap screw.

Reconnect extension spring to idler arm/brake.
Ensure belt finger(s) and auger clutch control cable
are properly adjusted. See To Adjust Belt Finger
and To Adjust Auger Control Cable in General
Maintenance & Adjustments.

10.Remove fuel cap and replace cowl.
11.Replace fuel cap.
