Move the snowthrower to a level surface.
Each time before using the snowthrower, check the oil level
in the engine crankcase.
Stop the engine and wait for all moving parts to stop.
Disconnect the spark plug wire (Figure 33).

Remove the dipstick, wipe it clean, then fully install the
dipstick.
2.
Remove the dipstick and check the oil level (Figure 34).
If the oil level is below the Add mark on the dipstick,
add oil. Refer to Filling the Engine with Oil.
