IMPORTANT: Avoid machine damage! Replacement
shear bolts MUST BE same as original shear bolts
on your snowthrower:

Softer bolts may shear too easily.
Loosen jam nut (C).
Harder bolts may not shear and snowthrower may
be damaged.

STOP the tractor.

LOCK the park brake.
Remove the key.
Find and correct the cause for shearing.

Belt tension is CORRECT WHEN idler arm (D) is
PARALLEL with welded frame (E) as shown.
