Loosen the clamp screws on the
gearbox and then pull the gearhead
off the drive tube.

Apply a mark to the drive tube at a
distance A of 2“ (50 mm).
Other combinations of the
attachment and non-approved
power tools are not permitted since
they may result in accidents or
serious personal injury.
The drive shaft may slip out of the
tube when you pull off the gearhead.
If this happens, push the drive shaft
back into the tube.

Push the gearbox (1) onto the drive
tube (2) as far as stop – turn the
gearbox back and forth until the
square end of the shaft engages.
The drive shaft must not project from the
tube more than L = 0.9" (22 mm). If
necessary, apply slight pressure to the
drive shaft and rotate it slowly at the
same time until it can be pushed in to the
required length.
The gearbox is correctly positioned if it
reaches or covers the mark (see arrow).
