CONTROL OPERATION,
REPLACEMENT, AND ADJUSTMENT
Reverse the above process for assembly.
Deflector Cable
Note the spring on the lockout latch. The end with the
slight bend goes behind the lockout latch and the hooked
end goes over the small tab. It is easiest to install the
latch mechanism then hook the end of the spring with a
wire and pull it into place (Fig. 034).
1. To remove the deflector cable, depress the tabs that
retain the cable in the bracket, under the control
panel. Disconnect the Z bend on the end (Fig. 035).

Remove the cable clamp and disconnect the cable
end from the deflector. Reverse this process to
install a new cable (Fig. 036).
