TROUBLESHOOTING
Engine Will Not Produce Spark
Possible Causes
Remedies
Spark plug wire disconnected
Spark plug fouled or damaged
Spark plug wire damaged
Coil kill wire grounded
Reconnect spark plug wire
Replace spark plug
Replace CD pack
Locate and eliminate the unwanted ground
Replace CD pack
Ignition coil failed
Flywheel magnets weak
Replace flywheel
Engine Flooded With Fuel
Possible Causes
Remedies
Overuse of choke position
Throttle cable misadjusted
Air cleaner plugged
Take throttle off choke
Adjust throttle cable, if present
Wash and re-oil air cleaner element (DuraForce only)
Replace spark plug
Fouled spark plug
Carburetor inlet needle stuck open or leaking
Carburetor Air Vent
Clean carburetor, replace failed parts, and pressure test
Clean Air Vent
Engine Has Low Compression

Replace piston rings or short block
