2.6 PREPARATION
Keep all controls, guards and safety devices
properly serviced and functional.
Before starting any removal of parts, proper
preparation is very important for efficient work. A clean
work area at the start of each job will allow you to
perform service repairs easily and quickly.
Never direct discharge towards persons or
property that may be injured or damaged by
thrown objects.
To reduce the incidence of misplaced tools or parts,
place removed components with all attaching hardware
in the disassembly order on a clean work surface.
Organization is a key part of proper reassembly.
DANGER!
ROTATING PARTS! ONLY use clean-out tool to
clear blockages. NEVER use your hands. High
speed impeller rotates below discharge
opening. Wait for all moving parts to stop
before removing clogs or servicing.
Tools, instruments, and parts needed for the job should
be gathered before work is started. Interrupting a job to
locate tools or parts is a needless delay.
