Drive Control
Whenthedrivecontrol isreleasedandinthedisen-
gaged“up” position, thecableshouldhaveverylittle
slack. It shouldNOTbetight.
Auger Control
Refer toAuger Control Test onPage11toadjust the
auger control.
Checktheadjustment of thedrivecontrol asfollows:
1.
Withthedrivecontrol released, pushthesnow
thrower gentlyforward. Theunit shouldroll freely.
2.
Engagethedrivecontrol andgentlyattempt topush
thesnowthrower forward. Thewheelsshouldnot
turn. Theunit shouldnot roll freely.
3.
Withthedrivecontrol released, movetheshift lever
backandforthbetweentheR2positionandtheF6
positionseveral times. Thereshouldbenoresistance
intheshift lever.
