MANUFACTURER’S LIMITED WARRANTY FOR
Thelimitedwarrantyset forthbelowisgivenbyMTDLLCwithrespect to
newmerchandisepurchasedandusedintheUnitedStates, itsposses-
sionsandterritories.
e. MTDdoesnot extendanywarrantyfor productssoldor exported
outsideof theUnitedStates, itspossessionsandterritories, except
thosesoldthroughMTD’sauthorizedchannelsof export distribution.
“MTD” warrantsthisproduct against defectsinmaterial andworkmanship
for aperiodof two(2) yearscommencingonthedateof original purchase
andwill, at itsoption, repair or replace, freeof charge, anypart foundto
bedefectiveinmaterialsor workmanship. Thislimitedwarrantyshall only
applyif thisproduct hasbeenoperatedandmaintainedinaccordance
withtheOperator’sManual furnishedwiththeproduct, andhasnot been
subject tomisuse, abuse, commercial use, neglect, accident, improper
maintenance, alteration, vandalism, theft, fire, water, or damagebecause
of other peril or natural disaster. Damageresultingfromtheinstallationor
useof anypart, accessoryor attachment not approvedbyMTDfor use
withtheproduct(s) coveredbythismanual will voidyour warrantyasto
anyresultingdamage.
f. Replacement partsthat arenot genuineMTDparts.
g. Transportationchargesandservicecalls.
Noimpliedwarranty, includinganyimpliedwarrantyof merchant-
abilityof fitnessforaparticularpurpose, appliesaftertheapplicable
periodof expresswrittenwarrantyaboveastothepartsasidenti-
fied. Nootherexpresswarranty, whetherwrittenororal, except as
mentionedabove, givenbyanypersonorentity, includingadealer
orretailer, withrespect toanyproduct, shall bindMTD. Duringthe
periodof thewarranty, theexclusiveremedyisrepairorreplacement
of theproduct asset forthabove.
Theprovisionsasset forthinthiswarrantyprovidethesoleand
exclusiveremedyarisingfromthesale. MTDshall not beliable
forincidental orconsequential lossordamageincluding, without
limitation, expensesincurredforsubstituteorreplacement lawncare
Normal wear partsarewarrantedtobefreefromdefectsinmaterial and
workmanshipfor aperiodof thirty(30) daysfromthedateof purchase.
Normal wear partsinclude, but arenot limitedtoitemssuchas: batteries,
belts, blades, bladeadapters, grassbags, rider deckwheels, seats, snow servicesorforrental expensestotemporarilyreplaceawarranted
thrower skidshoes, shaveplates, auger spiral rubber andtires.
HOWTOOBTAINSERVICE: Warrantyserviceisavailable, WITH
PROOFOFPURCHASE, throughyour local authorizedservice
product.
Somestatesdonot allowtheexclusionor limitationof incidental or
consequential damages, or limitationsonhowlonganimpliedwarranty

warrantyfor termsandconditions.
purchasepriceof theproduct sold. Alterationof safetyfeaturesof the
product shall voidthiswarranty. Youassumetheriskandliabilityfor
loss, damage, or injurytoyouandyour propertyand/or toothersandtheir
propertyarisingout of themisuseor inabilitytousetheproduct.
Thislimitedwarrantyshall not extendtoanyoneother thantheoriginal
purchaser or tothepersonfor whomit waspurchasedasagift.
HOWSTATELAWRELATESTOTHISWARRANTY: Thislimitedwar-
rantygivesyouspecificlegal rights, andyoumayalsohaveother rights
whichvaryfromstatetostate.
b. Logsplitter pumps, valves, andcylindershaveaseparateoneyear
warranty.
c. Routinemaintenanceitemssuchaslubricants, filters, blade
sharpening, tune-ups, brakeadjustments, clutchadjustments, deck
adjustments, andnormal deteriorationof theexterior finishduetouse
or exposure.
IMPORTANT: Owner must present Original Proof of Purchasetoobtain
warrantycoverage.
d. Servicecompletedbysomeoneother thananauthorizedservice
dealer.
