This snowthrower meets or exceeds the ISO
standard 8437 in effect at the time of production.
Preparation
•
Thoroughly inspect the area where the equipment is
to be used and remove all doormats, sleds, boards,
wires, and other foreign objects.
Read and understand the contents of this manual
before the engine is ever started.

Disengage all clutches and shift into neutral before
starting the engine.
This is the safety alert symbol. It is used to alert
you to potential personal injury hazards. Obey all
safety messages that follow this symbol to avoid
possible injury or death.
Do not operate the equipment without wearing
adequate winter garments. Wear footwear which will
improve footing on slippery surfaces.
Improperly using or maintaining this snowthrower
could result in injury or death. To reduce this
potential, comply with the following safety
instructions.

Handle fuel with care; it is highly flammable.

Use an approved fuel container.
– Never add fuel to a running or hot engine.

Fill fuel tank outdoors with extreme care. Never
fill fuel tank indoors.
Training
Replace gasoline caps securely and wipe up
spilled fuel.

Read the operating and service instruction manual
carefully. Be thoroughly familiar with the controls
and the proper use of the equipment. Know how to
stop the unit and disengage the controls quickly.
• Adjust the collector housing height to clear gravel
or crushed rock surface.

Never allow children to operate the equipment.
Never allow adults to operate the equipment without
proper instruction.
• Never attempt to make any adjustments while
the engine is running (except where specifically
recommended by manufacturer).

Keep the area of operation clear of all persons,
particularly small children, and pets.
• Let engine and machine adjust to outdoor
temperatures before starting to clear snow.
Exercise caution to avoid slipping or falling,
especially when operating in reverse.
• The operation of any powered machine can result in
foreign objects being thrown into the eyes. Always

Power Max® HD 1128 OXE is the biggest piece of juck for the money, the scrapper has a very week spring and starts backing off and the machine starts heading for the stars, or leaves enough snow so you have to do the job twice
