tures. These are described below and illustrated in

Thechokecontrol isfoundontherear of theengineand
isactivatedbyrotatingtheknobclockwise. Activatingthe
chokecontrol closesthechokeplateonthecarburetor
andaidsinstartingtheengine.
Shift Lever
Theshift lever islocatedintheright sideof thehandle
panel andisusedtodeterminegorundspeedand
directionof travel.
Throttle Control
Thethrottlecontrol islocatedonthe
engine. It regulatesthespeedof the
engineandwill shut off theenginewhen
pusheddowncompletely.
Primer
Depressingtheprimer forcesfuel directly
intotheengine’scarburetor toaidin
cold-weather starting.

Forward
Therearesixforward(F) speeds. Positionone(1) isthe
slowest andpositionsix(6) isthefastest.
Oil Fill
Engineoil level canbecheckedandoil
addedthroughtheoil fill.
Reverse
Therearetworeverse(R) speeds. One(1) istheslower
andtwo(2) isthefaster.
