Installing the Grass Basket
Parts needed for this procedure:

Procedure
Grasp basket by top lip and slide it onto the basket
mounting rods (Figure 9).

Locking clip

Rotate wheel back and forth until it slides completely
onto axle and locking clip is secured in groove on
axle shaft.

Repeat procedure on opposite side of machine.
Inflate the tires to 12 to 15 psi. (574 to 718 Pa).

Adjusting the Cutting Unit
No Parts Required
Procedure
Before operating the machine, complete the following
adjustments:

Level the rear drum to the reel.
Adjust the bedknife to the reel.
Adjust the height-of-cut.
Adjust the grass shield height
Adjust the cut off bar.
Refer to the Cutting Unit Maintenance section in
Maintenance for instructions on performing these
procedures.
