bypassitsoperation. Doingsomakesthemachineunsafe
andmaycausepersonal injury.
. Thecontrol leversmust operateeasilyinbothdirections
andautomaticallyreturntothedisengagedpositionwhen
released.
. Never operatewithamissingor damagedchuteassembly.
Keepall safetydevicesinplaceandworking.
. Never runanengineindoorsor inapoorlyventilatedarea.
Engineexhaust containscarbonmonoxide, anodorlessand
deadlygas.
Maintenance & Storage
1. Never tamper withsafetydevices. Checktheir proper
operationregularly. Refer tothemaintenanceand
adjustment sectionsof thismanual.
2. Beforecleaning, repairing, or inspectingmachine
disengageall control leversandstoptheengine. Wait until
theauger/impeller cometoacompletestop. Disconnect the
sparkplugwireandgroundagainst theenginetoprevent
unintendedstarting.
3. Checkboltsandscrewsfor proper tightnessat frequent
intervalstokeepthemachineinsafeworkingcondition.
Also, visuallyinspect machinefor anydamage.
4. Donot changetheenginegovernor settingor over-speed
theengine. Thegovernor controlsthemaximumsafe
operatingspeedof theengine.
