Always unp lug the unit and allow it to cool before
putting it into stora ge . Store indoors .
• Never add fuel to a running engine or hot engine .

After filling fuel tank, replace ga soline cap securely and
wipe up any spilled fuel. Move away from the fueling
area before starting the unit.

SPECIAL SAFETY WARNINGS FOR GAS

• Do not run the engine indoors , except whe n starting
the engine and for trans porting the snow throwe r in or
out of the building. Open the outs ide doors ; exha us t
fume s are dange rous .

When cleaning, inspecting, or repairing, ma ke certain
the rotor and all moving parts have stop ped.

Do not smoke while op erating the unit.
Disconne ct the spark plug wire and keep the wire away
from the plug to prevent accidenta l starting.
Refuel and store in an area free of pote ntial fuel vapor
ignition sourc es such as op en flame s (pilot lights ) or
electrical sparking devices (switches, electric motors ).

Handle fuel with care; it is highly flamma ble.
Use an approve d fuel conta iner for mixing fuel. Avoid
spilling the fuel whe n mixing with the oil.

Turn off the engine and let it cool before refueling or
before putting the unit in stora ge .

Fill fuel tank of the powe r unit with extreme care in a
well-ventilated, area outd oors . Never fill fuel tank
indoors . Do not smoke while fueling the powe r unit.
