ASSEMBLING THE COUP LER

the coup ler (Fig. 2).

NOTE: Aligning the release button with the guid e recess
will help installation (Fig. 1).

Turn the knob counterclockwise to loosen (Fig. 1).
Press and hold the release button (Fig. 1).

Turn the knob clockwise to tighte n (Fig. 3).
While firmly hold ing the upper shaft hous ing, pull the
snow thrower attachment out of the coupler (Fig. 2).
CAUTION: Lock the release button in the
primary hole (Fig. 2) and securely tighte n the
knob before op erating this unit.

WARNING: To avoid serious persona l injury
and dama ge to the unit, shut unit off before
removing or installing add-ons .
NOTE: To ma ke installing or removing the add-on
easier, place the unit on the ground or on a
work bench.

primary hole only. Using the wrong hole
could lead to persona l injury or dama ge to
the unit.
