Disassembly (Fig. 44)
Park machine on a level surface, lower booms, stop
engine, engage parking brake, and remove key from the
ignition switch.

Support boom to prevent it from falling. Remove cap

Spring in breakaway pivot is under tension. To
prevent possible personal injury, compress
spring before removing roll pin. Wear eye
protection when removing roll pin.

and spring from assembly.
Compress spring in breakaway assembly slightly.
