Install Starter Housing

The following sequence is suggested for complete
engine reassembly. This procedure assumes that all
components are new or have been reconditioned, and
all component subassembly work has been
completed. This procedure can be varied to
accommodate individual requirements for assembly
and repair.
Install Muffler
Install Fuel Tank And Carburetor
Mount/Reed Plate

Install Carburetor And Choke,
Connect Fuel Lines
NOTE: Make sure the engine is assembled using all
specified torque values and clearances. Failure to
observe specifications can cause severe engine wear
or damage.

Install Air Filter
Install Styling Cover
Always use new gaskets.
Install Engine Into Equipment
Prepare The Unit For Operation

Install Piston/Connecting Rod And Cylinder
To Crankcase, Install Spark Plug

* On some units, these can be removed and reinstalled
without removing the engine from its normal operating
installation.
