Remove the 3 bolts that hold the belt cover in place and
set the cover aside (Fig. 23).

Loosen the auger brake arm assembly by loosening the
rearmost screw and removing the front screw (Fig. 24).

washer (Fig. 25).

Separate and remove the engine pulley sheave (Fig. 25).

Remove the auger/impeller drive belt, leaving it looped
around the large auger/impeller pulley.

Remove the engine pulley (Fig. 25).

Remove the idler pulley spring (Fig. 24). Let the brake
arm assembly hang free but out of the way.
Remove the traction drive belt from the traction pulley
and the engine crankshaft (Fig. 25).
Remove 2 bolts, 2 washers, and 2 lock washers that
secure the belt guide (Fig. 25).

Pull the traction idler pulley outward and install a new
traction drive belt (Fig. 25).
Install the engine pulley.
Note: Do not to pinch the traction drive belt (Fig. 26).
