Hydrostatictransmissionfluid
Checkthehydrostaticfluidlevelinthereservoir.
Hydrostaticfluidexpandsandcontractswithchangesintemperature.
TheUPPERandLOWERlevelmarksonthereservoirarecalibratedfor
roomtemperaturefluid.
It is normal for the fluid level no rise above the UPPER level mark
whensnowbloweroperationwarmsthetransmission.
Whencheckingthelevelofcoldfluid,belowroomtemperature,refer
tothetemperaturechartforappropriatefluidlevels.
Attemperaturesbelow-20°C(-4°F),fluidmaynotbevisibleinthe
reservoirbeforeoperation,butshouldriseintothereservoirwhenthe
transmissionwarmsup.

Ifthefluidlevelislow,addHondaHydrostaticFluid.
The use of other hydrostatic fluids will reduce transmission
performance and may damage the transmission. Use only Honda
HydrostaticFluid.

.Unscrew the reservoir cap and remove the seal. Be careful to
preventdirt,water,orsnowfromenteringthereservoir.
.Add Honda Hydrostatic Fluid to bring the fluid level to the UPPER
levelmarkatroomtemperature,ortotheappropriatelevelshownin
thetemperaturechart.Donotoverfill.

3.Reinstalltheseal,andtightenthecapsecurely.
