Periodic inspection and maintenance willhelp extendthe service life
of yoursnowblower while keeping itin the bestoperating condition.
Inspectorserviceasdescribedinthetablebelow.
Shutofftheenginebeforeperforminginspectionandmaintenance,
and disconnect the spark plug wire from the plug so the engine
cannotbestarted.
If the engine must be run, make sure the area is well-ventilated.
Exhaust gas contains poisonous carbon monoxide; exposure can
causelossofconsciousnessandmayleadtodeath.
To avoid overturning, place the snowblower on a level surface
beforeperforminginspectionandmaintenance.
UseonlygenuineHondapartsortheirequivalent.
Replacementpartswhicharenotofequivalentqualitymaydamage
thesnowblower.
Tools
A spark plug wrench and handle are supplied with the snowblower.
Some of the maintenance procedures described in this manual will
requireasetofmetricwrenches(notsupplied).
