Adjust the snow discharge chute to avoid hitting the operator,
bystanders, windows, and other objects with thrown snow. Stay
clearofthesnowdischargechutewhiletheengineisrunning.
Ifthesnowdischargechutebecomesclogged,stoptheengineand
useasnowdropbar (equippedtype) orawoodensticktounclogit.
Never put your hand into the snow discharge chute while the
engineisrunning;seriouspersonalinjurycouldresult.
Tomovefromoneplacetoanother,ortochangedirection,usethe
driveclutchlever.Usingtheaugerclutchleverwillcausethesnow
blowing mechanism to rotate, possibly resulting in equipment
damageorpersonalinjury.
Nevermovetheshiftleverwhilethesnowblowerisinmotion.
Besuretodisengagethedriveclutchoraugerclutchbeforeshifting
gears.
Besuretosettheshiftleverintothegroove.
Donotsetinbetweenthegrooves.
If you need to have the auger housing lower than its LOW position,
takeyoursnowblowertoanauthorizedHondadealer.
