Place the machine on the ground so
that it is secure.
Press the machine against the
ground with your left hand on the
engine housing.

Pull the starter grip slowly with your
right hand until you feel it engage –
and then give it a brisk strong pull.
Do not pull out starter rope to full
length – it might break.
Starting
:
Press the fuel pump bulb (5) at least
Do not let the starter grip snap back
five times.

Press in the choke lever and set
–
guide it vertically into the housing
it to (1):
so that the starter rope can rewind
properly.
For cold start tol
For warm start toj
(also use this setting if the engine
has been running but is still cold).

Move the stop switch (2) to#.
Squeeze the throttle trigger (3) and
hold it there.
:
:
Press in the starting throttle lock (4)
and hold it there.
Now release the throttle trigger and
the starting throttle lock in that order.
This is the starting throttle
position.
