MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS
REPLACING THE SCRAPER
CLEANING

Use a sma ll brus h to clean off the outs ide of the unit. Do
not us e strong deterge nts . Hous ehold cleaners tha t
conta in aroma tic oils such as pine and lemon, and
solvents such as keros ene, can dama ge plastic hous ing
or handle. Wipe off any mois ture with a soft cloth.

Place the unit on the ground or on a work bench.
Pos ition the unit so the vanes and rotor are facing up.
Beneath the rotor, locate the three (3) screws securing
the scraper to the housing. Remove them using a
#T20 Torx bit or flat blade screwdriver (Fig. 11).

Secure the unit while trans porting.

Remove the scraper and discard it approp riately.
To move the unit, gra sp it by the top and middle front
handles (Fig. 12).
The new scraper will snap into place. Onc e in place,
atta ch it to the unit by reinstalling the thre e (3)
screws.

If you are trans porting the unit with the handles folded,
be careful not to ma ke conta ct and accidenta lly bend
the discharge directiona l control (Fig. 6). If you bend or
dama ge the control, you can no longe r adjust the
vanes.
Torque the screws to:
25-30
in• lb (2.8-3.3 N• m).
