Thoroughly inspect the area where the snow thrower is
to be used. Remove all doormats , sleds , boards , wires,
debris , and other foreign objects which may be thrown
by the snow thrower.

the safety of the operator and any bystanders.
Please keep these instructions for later use.
• Make sure the rotor will spin freely before us ing the
unit.

Dress properly. Wear adequate winter outer garments .
Wear heavy, long pants , boots , gloves and a long sleeve
shirt. Do not wear loose clothing, jewelry, short pants ,
sandals or go barefoot. Secure hair above shoulder level.

Read the instruc tions carefully. Be familiar with the
controls and prop er us e of the unit.

Do not op erate this unit whe n tired, ill or und er the
influence of alcohol, drugs or me dication.

Wear footwe ar tha t doe sn' t leak whe n op erating the
snow throwe r and tha t will improve footing on slippery
surfaces. Wear rubber boots .
Children und er the age of 15 mus t not us e the unit;
teens ma y op erate the unit with adult guid ance.
Never atte mp t to ma ke adjustme nts while the motor is
running.
Inspect the unit before us e. Replace dama ge d parts.
Make sure all fasteners are in place and secure.
Replace snow throwe r parts tha t are cracked,
chipped, or dama ge d in any way.
• Let the motor and unit adjus t to outdoor temperatures
before starting to clear snow.

times during op eration or while performing an
adjustme nt or repair to prote ct eyes from foreign
ob jects tha t ma y be thrown from the ma chine.
