Oil pump –refitting 346XP, 350, 351, 353
Remove the pin (B) from the adjuster screw, using
a small drift to press it out.

Press in the pump piston (C) so that the adjuster
screw (D) can be removed. Remove the pump
piston.

Remove the bolts on the anti-vibration elements on
the same side.
Lubricate the pump piston (C) with chain oil and fit
the pump piston and washers.

Press down the pump piston (C). Fit the ad-
juster screw and spring so that the pin (B) can be
pressed into position.

Reconnect the oil hose and filter (A).
Model 350:
Carefully lift out the oil pump from the crankcase.
Push the crankcase up a little from the fuel tank
and screw on the filter (A) from underneath.

Cleaning and inspection
Bolt the oil pump to the crankcase. The adjustable
oil pump must be bolted to torque of 2–3 Nm.
•
Clean and inspect all parts carefully. If there are
any cracks or other defects replace the damaged
parts with new ones. Always use original parts.
•
Lubricate all moving parts with chain oil.
