Shift Cable
If thefull rangeof speeds(forwardandreverse) cannot
beachieved, refer tothefiguretotheleft andadjust the
shift cableasfollows:

Usinga½” wrench, loosentheupper andlower hex
nutsfoundononecableadjuster.
2.
Graspthemetal cablehousingandgentlypush
upwardtotakeupslack(usuallynomorethan1/4-
inch) inthecablebeforeretighteningbothhexnuts.
Neverattempt to
makeanyadjust-
mentswhilethe
engineisrunning,
except wherespeci-
fiedinoperator’s
manual.

Repeat ontheother cableadjuster until thechute
assemblyhasfull rangefromleft-to-right.

Skid Shoes
Thespacebetweenthisshaveplateandthegroundcan
beadjusted. For closesnowremoval, placeskidshoesin
thelowposition. Usemiddleor highpositionwhenareato
beclearedisuneven.
