1. Install “O” ring in groove in sump, Fig. 115.

Inspect Oil Pump

Inspect surfaces of inner and outer rotors, pump housing,
cover, and shaft for wear and scoring.

Inspect pump housing and passages for debris.
Clean if required.

Place pump cover on oil pump cavity and install three (3)
screws. Torque screws to 35 in. lbs. (4.0Nm).
Replace worn or damaged parts.
Install Oil Filter Adapter
Install Oil Pump

Install oil filter adapter as shown in Fig. 116. Torque screws to
85 in. lbs. (10.0Nm).

Oil and install outer rotor in pump cavity. Do not use force
to install.

Oil and install inner rotor in pump cavity.
Turn rotors to engage pump in cam or governor gear.
Place “O” ring in groove in cover, Fig. 114.
