Main Cause of Reel Mower Injuries
There are some basic safety rules that you should al-
ways follow when working with cutting units:
Whenever you check the cutting units for bedknife
to reel contact, or to remove an object, make sure
the cutting units are disengaged, the ignition is off
and the key is removed.
Wear sturdy work gloves and use a piece of wood or
a tool to rotate the blades.
If adjustments are necessary, have a trained techni-
cian make them.
NEVER give anyone a ride on the machine.
Always turn the cutting units off when someone gets
near the machine.
