O–Ring Kit
O–ring face seal connections on Toro equipment require
the use of special 90 Durometer O–rings. Toro recom-
mends that the O–ring be replaced whenever a connec-
tion is loosened.
An O–ring kit is available that contains O–rings for com-
monly used ORFS and SAE hydraulic connections.

Hydraulic Filters
New machines develop residue in the hydraulic system
from the normal break–in process. It is very important to
change the filter after the first few hours of operation and
again at regular intervals as listed in the Operator’s
Manual. If filters are not replaced as recommended, a
build up of debris can block the pores of the filter. Contin-
ued operation with a clogged filter can cause damage to
hydraulic system components.
IMPORTANT: Use only Toro replacement filters.
These filters have Toro specified filtration ratings
and no internal by–pass valve. Using a standard au-
tomotive type filter, even though it may fit, will cause
damage to the hydraulic system and void the war-
ranty. Other “will fit” filters will often appear similar
to Toro filters, but the filter media may not have the
same filtration rating.
