Groomer Drive Belt Replacement

Park mower on a level surface. Make sure engine is
OFF. Remove high tension lead from the engine spark
plug.

Remove two (2) lock nuts that secure groomer belt
cover to cutting unit, then remove cover (Fig. 4).
3.
Pivot idler pulley by placing a 10mm wrench on
pulley nut and rotating clockwise to relax belt tension.
Slip groomer drive belt off pulleys (Fig. 5). Release idler.

IMPORTANT: When installing groomer drive belt,
make sure that belt is centered on the pulleys and
in the grooves.

Install new groomer drive belt to drive pulley, idler
pulley and driven pulley observing correct belt routing
(Fig. 5). Make sure that groomer belt is centered in pul-
leys.

Rotate drive pulley a few revolutions to make sure
that drive belt remains centered in pulleys during opera-
tion.

Position belt cover to cutting unit and secure with two
lock nuts.

Attach spark plug wire to engine spark plug.
