General Run Problems
Problem
Possible Causes
Battery does not charge.
Wiring to charging circuit components is loose,
corroded or damaged (see Electrical Schematic in
Chapter 7 -- Electrical Diagrams).
Voltage regulator is not properly grounded to engine.
Voltage regulator is faulty.
Ignition switch is faulty.
Battery is faulty.
Alternator stator or engine flywheel is faulty.
Engine stops during operation.
Operator remote control button was inadvertently
pressed.
Ignition switch is faulty.
Fuse or fusible link is faulty.
Fuel, magneto and/or power relay is/are faulty.
Wiring to the run circuit components is broken or
disconnected (see Electrical Schematic in Chapter 7 --
Electrical Diagrams).
Operator remote control or remote control module is
faulty.
Engine or fuel system is malfunctioning (see Chapter 3
--
Engine).
Nozzle rotation motor does not operate.
Wiring to the nozzle rotation motor is broken or
disconnected (see Electrical Schematic in Chapter 7 --
Electrical Diagrams).
Nozzle rotation motor is faulty.
Operator remote control or remote control module is
faulty.
