Hour Meter
The hour meter used on the ProForce Debris Blower re-
cords the amount of time that the engine is running.

Make sure that ignition switch is OFF.

To prevent unexpected machine operation, discon-

nect the negative battery cable from the battery terminal
(see Battery Service in the Service and Repairs section
of this chapter). Position disconnected negative cable
away from the negative battery terminal.

Unplug harness connector from hour meter.
Locate wire harness connector at rear of hour meter.

to the positive (+) terminal of the hour meter.
Connect the positive (+) terminal ofa12 VDC source

source to the other terminal of the hour meter.
Connect the negative (--) terminal of the voltage

The hour meter should move 1/10 of an hour in six
minutes.

Disconnect the voltage source from the hour meter.
Replace the hour meter if necessary.
Connect wire harness connector to hour meter.
10.Connect
negative battery cable to negative battery
terminal. Tighten nut that secures battery cable from 10
to 15 ft--lb(14 to 20 N--m).Make sure that battery cover
is secured.
